Hi, Nee! Thank you for the compliment. I’m thinking a light-weight casual coat, and wondering how I want to prep the wool. Any suggestions? 😊

I have a light wool too which I wasn’t sure how to prep, either by dry cleaning or a light steam with an iron? Let me know what you do and if it works. Good luck. Nee x

Thanks for the plug Del – will you be joining in this year? Love that mustard fabric; I’ve just made myself a jacket in mustard velvet and silk. I had a tear off shoe-a-day calendar a few years ago but couldn’t bear to throw the pages away as the illustrations were so beautiful!

Thank you, Sheila, and thank you for doing another #stitchingsanta this year!
Your mustard sounds yummier than mine, which is a nice, utilitarian lightweight wool. Am now having a think about how to prep it, as I really don’t want to do the dry cleaning bit… You shoe calendar sounds wonderful. Mine is a monthly, so only have 12 pair. Most aren’t very exciting, but I thought this was worth a mention. 😀

Love that mustardy wool fabric. What’s it going to be?

Thank you! As it’s a lightweight wool, I’d thought an Autumn/early Winter coat might be nice, specially as I don’t have one. 😉
