~ on a 30’s movie set

A collection of photos taken in 2008, in a Midwestern town that had been used briefly as a movie set.

All the merchants had been paid to close, and allow movie crews to come in and remake their storefronts.

Tracks were laid in the street for trolleys, and everything was closed during daylight hours so crews could take care of movie-making…

Friends & I happened to have dinner close-by just before everything turned back to modern-day.

Luckily I had a camera with me…  Click any of the photos for a full screen view & to click through the set.

Hope you enjoy!
