sunday sevens #9

Natalie at Threads and Bobbins came up with the idea of Sunday Sevens.  Anyone can join in, and you don’t have to do a post every Sunday. Why not check out her site & try one, or a few, yourself? My post is a bit short this week, as my holiday hasn’t quite gone to plan. But it’s turning out quite enjoyable despite changes.

Hope everyone has a lovely week!

Lovely crumpets! Yup, toasted – I like mine well done and crispy and dripping with butter! Your stash will be expanding at a rapid rate, how’s the Morris coming on? 😃

Chewing the last of crumpet & cuppa whilst typing – hope my friend forgives sticky fingers on her ipad. (grin) Haven’t gotten to crispy yet, being cautious – don’t want to start one burning & set off fire alarm. (ack-such a waste!) Morris coming along slowly. It’s been interrupted so much by unexpected weather changes & other time-consuming activities, but on the sewing table. Am keeping at it!

No Trader Joe’s in your area? Or a British tea shop? Try searching for British food. I found this: http://www.tobbp.com/index.asp
Whilst they don’t list crumpets, you could call or email them to request. And there’s always mega-monster amazon, with outrageous pricing & shipping. A care package from home?
These are heavy, and I suspect not nearly up to what you’re used to. Could try sending a couple, if you email your address.
