🌲⛄️🌲 Lovely Readers, I’ve a quandary: a holiday party looms. 🌲⛄️🌲
Making finger sandwiches Tuesday for an evening do & don’t want soggy bread.
Do I liberally spread marge over the crust-less bread before adding the filling?
Then cover with a damp towel to keep them from drying out?
THANK YOU in advance ! ! !
Thank you!

Oooh, those fillings sound delicious! Keeping them open face should be helpful. Good luck!

Saran wrap = plastic warp = cling film. Can’t usually remember the first 2, which leaves my U.S. friends wondering what I’m talking about.

Had thought to do a store bought chicken salad with cranberry & nuts (finely chopped) and a cheese & cherry tomato (toothpick time). Am tempted to do a bit of lettuce under the chicken salad & leave both open-faced (no top slice of bread). Then when wrapped in plastic/saran wrap (a.k.a. cling film!) there’s less chance for sog to develop.

Yes, trial run….one with cling wrap and one with damp toweling, although either one can make a soggy mess. What kind of sandwich filling?

Do you have cling film over there Del? I’ve never heard of using a damp towel, the trial run sounds a good idea 🙂
