More than 50 years ago things were very different.  By today’s standards and prices, the menu in this movie set’s bakery window looks ridiculously cheap, but in those days it probably wasn’t.  (Other set photos here.)

Living around the country, experiencing different climates, my needs have varied, and so have the projects. Thank goodness I discovered vintage enthusiasts, who are tremendously inspiring! My fav era is 30s-40s, so am interested in sewing details, which went out of fashion, and are now called vintage. Learnt them from grans & school.
